Synopsis
After losing his family and falling into despair, a penniless man named Zhang Xiaobing survives a suicide attempt. To pay off his debts, he takes a job as a caregiver in "Cancer Ward No. 10," tasked with providing "psychological intervention." There, a man who has lost the will to live finds himself living day and night with those facing the end of theirs. Through mutual support, they navigate their darkest hours together, eventually rediscovering the meaning of life and embarking on a brand-new journey.

Chen Sicheng (born 1978, Shenyang, Liaoning Province) is a director, screenwriter, actor, and producer. His directorial credits include Detective Chinatown 1900, Decoded , and the Detective Chinatown series. His producing credits include Malice, Endless Journey, Lost in the Stars, and the Sheep Without a Shepherd series. As an actor, he is known for A Young Prisoner's Revenge and Soldiers Sortie. He has received numerous awards, including the Best Director Award at the 38th China Film Golden Rooster Awards and the Golden Pyramid Honorary Award at the 45th Cairo International Film Festival.
