The Exhibition of the Beijing Film Market, Endorsed by State Authorities, Empowered by Industrialization and Covering the Entire Industrial Chain, Announces Its First Batch of Exhibitors

The 14th BJIFF Beijing Film Market is about to be convened at Langyuan Station from April 19 to 22, 2024. For the first time, it is to be held in “two venues”. Apart from Langyuan Station, it’s to be held at the Production Base of Bona Film Group from April 24 to 25.

The Beijing Film Market has been conducive to many film-related cooperation and surprises over the past 13 years. For instance, during the 13th BJIFF Beijing Film Market held last year, Emperor Motion Pictures reached cooperation with the CONTENT THAILAND at the Exhibition, i.e. film shooting in Thailand.

For the 14th edition, while consolidating the matchmaking role for domestic and international film cooperation, the Exhibition will continue to optimize its clustering of resources, select various exhibitors specializing in production, marketing, distribution, copyright trading and agency, and keep injecting new momentum into the film market.

We are honored to release the first batch of exhibitors today:
Endorsement of state authorities assures cooperation

In order to promote film cooperation between China and other countries, the Exhibition has attracted competent film authorities from Brazil, Thailand, and Republic of Korea among other countries. They will introduce favorable local shooting policies, and provide shooting support in projects agreed during the Exhibition.

Empowerment of industrialization drives cutting-edge production

The industrialization of the film industry is firstly shown in the specialization, standardization and work flow of film production, and effective allocation of resources on a national and global scale. To this end, the Exhibition selects leading companies in the industry so as to empower the entire film industrial chain.

industrialization. Keenly aware of the new trend of film production around the world, the Exhibition has extended invitation to providers for premium digital services.

Coverage of the entire industrial chain ensures more thorough services

Film production entails not only stories but also human resources. While film companies undoubtedly constitute the essence of films, the Exhibition looks at the big picture: project initiation and approval, cast & crew transfer and legal affairs among other functions that are indispensable but often neglected in film production. The Exhibition sets up such a section to ensure more thorough services for films.

Moving forward, we are to announce exhibitors from the UK, Italy, Spain, Japan, USA and other countries. Stay tuned!

The guest/buyer registration is still open.
