Launch Ceremony of BJIFF 10th Anniversary Exhibition & Release Conference of Blue Paper of Beijing International Film Festival Held
  2020 marks the 10th anniversary of the Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), an important platform for promoting the development of Chinese films, Sino-foreign film exchanges, trade and cooperation, as well as world cultural exchanges. To preserve and showcase the precious data and videos of the BJIFF, the Organizing Committee of the BJIFF will innovatively deliver the BJIFF 10th Anniversary Exhibition to review the development of the festival, make the audience intuitively experience its growth, showcase its development and changes, have in-depth communication with the audience and enhance its brand influence.
  On the morning of August 23, Decade of Endeavor, Fulfilment of Aspirations--Launch Ceremony of BJIFF 10th Anniversary Exhibition & Release Conference of Blue Paper of Beijing International Film Festival took place at the China National Film Museum.
  Chen Ling, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Head of the China Film Archive (CFA), delivered an address. Xu Tao, Deputy Chief Editor of Beijing Radio & Television Station and Executive Deputy Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the Beijing International Film Festival, donated exhibits to CFA on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the BJIFF; Liao Xiangzhong, President of Communication University of China (CUC), delivered an address. Du Feijin, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, unveiled the Blue Paper of Beijing International Film Festival along with Liao.
  Present were Du Feijin, Member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China; Yu Junsheng, Deputy Director of the Publicity Department of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of Beijing Radio & Television Station; Wang Jiequn, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Director of the Beijing Municipal Film Administration; Liao Xiangzhong, President of CUC; Xu Tao, Deputy Chief Editor of Beijing Radio & Television Station and Executive Deputy Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the Beijing International Film Festival; Chen Ling, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Head of CFA; Wang Xiangrong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Head of CFA; Xu Weigong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Head of CFA; Tang Kaiwen, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Head of CFA; the editorial board of Blue Paper of Beijing International Film Festival, the faculty of CUC and leaders of the Organizing Committee of the BJIFF.
  The exhibition chronologically presented the development and brilliant achievements of the BJIFF over the years from the perspectives of filmmaker, award, film, conversation, industry, festival and event.
  The exhibition has three highlights.
Highlight 1 Spectacular Immersive Experience
  The venue for the exhibition is Central Circular Hall, China National Film Museum. With an an area of 1,800 square meters, a height of 25 meters and a bottom diameter of some 36 meters, the nearly 360°curtain screen is China's largest indoor conical curved hanging screen. It supports high-definition videos and will present spectacular immersive scenes.
Highlight 2 Online-Offline Theme Exhibition
  The exhibition will present an online version of the same theme so that the audience can experience the development and changes of the BJIFF via computers or mobile phones at home. Just open an App, or visit the official websites and WeChat public accounts of the BJIFF and CFA, you will enjoy the online version with identical contents. 
Highlight 3 A Full View of Previous Achievements of the BJIFF
  With a variety of contents, the exhibition will present the previous objects and videos of the previous editions of the BJIFF online and offline, to showcase its growth and development context. In the online version, the audience will see the previous video highlights of the festival.
