Film Invitation to the 14th BJIFF Science and Technology Section

The Science and Technology Section of the 14th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF), based on the screening of films with special effects, will integrate film screenings, popular science activities, masterpiece selection and industrial exchanges, and call on the public to explore science and foster their spirit of science through films focusing on the spirit of scientists, aerospace, artificial intelligence, space exploration, culture & history, natural environment, ocean exploration, prehistoric exploration, animal and plant protection, science fiction and other subjects.

Types of submissions and format requirements:

1. Giant screen films: 20-50 min, 3D format, DCP

2. Dome screen films: 20-50 min, 2D format, PNG Sequence

3. 4D films: 10-20 min, 3D format, with the content fitting environmental special effects such as fog, rain, snow, wind, lightning, smells, bubbles, etc., DCP

4. Popular science documentaries: 20-60 min, 2D/3D format, DCP

5. Sci-fi films: short films of 4-40 min, feature films of 40-120 min, 2D/3D format, DCP

6. Films with the spirit of scientists: 20-120 min, 2D/3D format, DCP
