I. Competition Theme: "Hometown of Yugong, Culturally Beautiful Jiyuan"
The story of "The Foolish Old Man Who Removed the Mountains" (Yugong Yishan) has been passed down for millennia, serving as a spiritual totem of the Chinese nation's perseverance and unswerving determination. Today's Jiyuan is not only the birthplace of the Yugong spirit but also a vibrant city where natural landscapes and culture intertwine. With "Hometown of Yugong, Culturally Beautiful Jiyuan" as its core, this theme competition invites global creators to use their lenses to capture the breathtaking mountains, rivers, and cultural charms of Jiyuan. We seek to tell the modern-day stories of "Yugong Yishan", allowing this ancient city "at the foot of the Taihang Mountains and along the banks of the Yellow River" to be revitalized through cinematic imagery.
II. Eligibility
This competition is open to short video creators, film and television professionals, university students and faculty, social media influencers, and youth creator groups worldwide. There are no restrictions on nationality or age.
